A few weeks ago we went to basketball zones it was cool to see the big Stadium. We went in different cars it was a 15  Minute drive I went in a car with Chris and Tyler.Our team was green and we had a bunch of fun it was very Tiring. There was 7 games in total, I was exhausted after just two games. The stadium that we were at was the trust stadium it was Huge the inside  was even bigger.There was what looked like 100 seats on the sides and it had two floors. In total there was 15 teams from other schools one team was nice and cheered when our team was playing so when they were playing we cheered for them. The hardest team to beat was a Catholic school they had tall players and good skill it was very fun .Sadly we did not win a single game but at least we had a bunch of fun. I ate all of my lunch and water.

1.The event I remember the most Is when we did orienteering zones when we had a map that we had to follow to find a post with a number on each post that you had to insert your device on your finger.

2.I remember it so clearly because it was so fun at orienteering zones.3.The event I enjoyed the most was the swimming at Cameron pools

.4.The thing that I enjoyed about it was learning \to swim very well and do other things. 3.

5.The subject I have made the most improvements in is swimming  cause now I can do backstroke now.

6. A new friendship I have made is with Huzaifah and Zaveir.

7.responsibilities and opportunity’s I have completed are doing orienteering  swimming doing av room and gardening.

8.I think that the thing I liked  about gardening was getting to plant all these plants.

9.The thing I would like to share about 2022 is that this year has been a lot of work and random things.

This week we have been learning about the story of Parihaka . And how some Maori got their land stolen off them. In the 1860’s and how instead of fighting they sent singing kids. And showed non violence to the Army.

And today we are celebrating peace in Remembrance for that day.

Yesterday we made headbands with white on the feathers. Some  people put one two or three on their one.  I put three on mine we also got to put patterns on them. There is so much  different patterns that everyone did. The white feathers are to represent peace.

My favourite place in the museum  was the weird&wonderful exhibit.

because there was so much facts and things I did not know about. There were drawers that you could open that had lots of different bugs & insects.  The thing I liked the most was the tablet that you got to create your own butterfly with different colours and prints on them. Then you got to send it to a TV and try to find it. There was also a microscope that you could put things under it.  Before that we went to a volcano class room to prepare for a pretend volcano eruption. Then we had lunch and went to peter the t-rex.- We had to find facts about him. Then we all got to chose between weird&wonderful or the  Imaginarium. I picked  to spend 5 minutes in each one. At the end we went outside and got on the bus to go back to school.
